File contents
SendIt never uploads your file contents to cloud storage servers.
Direct peer-to-peer transmission
File streams travel directly through a secure WebRTC DataChannel established between sender and receiver.
Temporary data processing
We process only short-lived signaling data needed to connect browsers:
- Temporary room identifiers
- Basic metadata (file name, file size)
- WebRTC signaling connection data
This data is permanently deleted upon transfer completion or expiration.
Zero tracking & accounts
No user profiles are maintained, no personal identity is collected, and no user activity tracking is performed.
Camera access
If you scan a QR code, camera access is processed locally inside your browser. No video frames leave your device.
